After major restoration, the house and gardens open on Sunday 14 March with a new visitor route through the house. There is a new gallery for displaying art and new displays celebrating the Duchess Georgiana and an exhibition celebrating the 90th birthday of Deborah Devonshire, the present Dowager Duchess. Our regular supplier of bacon, pork sausage and black pudding have struck gold again - 5 times!! One of their gold awards was achieved for their superb quality plain pork sausage which you can taste when you have your breakfast at Throapham House.
