Throapham House - Five Star Gold Award Accommodation in South Yorkshire

Throapham House offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation located near Dinnington in South Yorkshire. If you are looking for an alternative to luxury hotels in the Sheffield area, then you will find a warm and friendly welcome awaits you from owners Ann and Robert Holland.

The house is a Grade II listed property dating from around 1750. Our family home since 1993, it was refurbished in 2006 and now provides bed and breakfast accommodation in three spacious double rooms.

About our rooms

All guest bedrooms are en-suite with shower and are equipped with high quality furniture and fittings for your comfort. Our largest room features a bath with separate shower cubicle and can be converted to a twin on request. Subject to availability and additional cost we can accommodate a third person on a fold-up bed in our two larger rooms.

New for 2010 - Relax in our stylish Guest Lounge where we will serve you with drinks on your arrival.

• All rooms enjoy both Wi-fi (wireless) and fixed broadband internet access at no extra cost.

Our location

Throapham House enjoys a convenient and pleasant rural location in the hamlet of Throapham, near Dinnington and close to the villages of Laughton-en-le-Morthen, Todwick, Anston, Woodsetts and Firbeck.
We are just three miles from the M1(J31)/M18/A57 junction and near to the centres of Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Worksop. The A1 and Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport are also nearby, as are the boundaries of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, making Throapham House an ideal base for both business and leisure visitors looking for accommodation in the South Yorkshire region.
