Our nearest railway stations are at Kiveton Park and Worksop, both just a few miles away.

By bus…

Dinnington Interchange is about half a mile away and provides bus links to and from the major towns in the area with many of these stopping at the end of Breck Lane about 200m away. There is also a local bus service  which stops directly outside Throapham House. Please contact us for further details.

By road…

From M1 Junction 31

• Take the A57 east towards Worksop.
• After approximately one mile, turn left at the traffic lights adjacent to the Red Lion Hotel signposted Dinnington.
• Continue on this road for about one mile to the next roundabout.
• Take the second exit from the roundabout onto Common Road signposted Throapham and Oldcotes. Proceed on this road for about 3/4 mile. The road name changes into Oldcotes Road as you enter Throapham.
• Throapham House is located on the left hand side about 200 yards after you pass the Throapham sign.
• Turn left into the courtyard just before our sign.

From M18 Junction 2

• Take the A631 from towards Maltby & Bawtry, keeping in the right hand lane.
• After 200 yards, go around the roundabout returning back towards the M18 junction, keeping in the left hand lane.
• Just before the M18 roundabout, turn left into Cumwell Lane.
• Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you reach the next T-junction and turn left here onto Woodhouse Green.
• After 200 yards, just before a sharp right hand bend turn left onto Sandy Lane.
• Keep on this road, passing through Thurcroft and the village of Laughton-en-le-Morthern until you reach a Give Way sign at the junction of St John’s Road and Oldcotes Road.
• Turn left onto Oldcotes Road.
• Throapham House is located on the left hand side after about 200 yards.
• Turn left into the courtyard just before our sign.

From A1 (Blyth)

• From the A1 roundabout just outside Blyth, take the exit leading to Blyth village.
• As you pass the church on your right hand side, turn right onto the A634 towards Rotherham.
• Continue on this road for about 2.5 miles until you reach the roundabout in the village of Oldcotes.
• Take the first exit towards Worksop and after 200 yards turn right to Dinnington.
• Continue on for a further 2.5 miles until you reach Throapham.
• Throapham House is located on the right hand side after about 100 yards.
• Turn right into the courtyard just after our sign.

From A1 / A57 (Worksop)

• Leave Worksop on the A57.
• After passing Lindrick Golf Course you will reach a set of traffic lights in the village Anston.
• Turn right at these traffic lights and proceed for about 2 miles through North Anston towards Dinnington.
• Continue over the mini-roundabout through Dinnington and back out into open countryside.
• About 1 mile from Dinnington at the next T-junction turn left onto Oldcotes Road and proceed into Throapham.
• Throapham House is located on the right hand side after about 100 yards.
• Turn right into the courtyard just after our sign.
